Principal and Corporate Design
Strategist™ G.
Maurice Guinouard has an award-winning track record in all media.
He has mastered brand-building and takes our creative services outside the box
for high-powered results.
Guinouard (pronounced
Geen-wah) has been recognized by Corel Systems for his award-winning designs
submitted to their competition for the trade publication,
Showcase. Published twice in American Corporate
Identity, and he is one of the distinguished designers to be featured
The Big Book of Logos and in the just released publication,
The Big Book of Logos 3 . Guinouard transfers his
fine arts sensibilities into the high-tech arena of computer-aided design.
Presently working in the latest versions of Draw, Guinouard’s history
encompasses 10 years of experience in PC compatible Computer and Corel Draw
programs.
Over the years, Guinouard has funneled his
creative energies into a variety of projects for Fortune 100 and 500 companies.
As a business owner, Guinouard is cognizant of the budgetary constraints and
necessity for cost-effective marketing on behalf of his clientele. He is able to
address such challenges with smart solutions whether it be a single project or
total corporate identity campaign.
3G Design pursues each assignment with an
eye for longevity. Logos portray a company’s first impression. They represent a
company’s investment in itself, an investment which not only visualizes the
essence of the business but also should be easily translatable for all
collateral produced for the business, from stationery to billboards.
Guinouard believes his background in fine
art permits him to switch easily back and forth from the drawing board to the
computer. Guinouard says:
"3G Design’s ongoing association with
colleagues in collateral services of printing and publishing renders an
atmosphere of one-stop shopping for clientele who prefer to embrace a
full-service project. I was just old enough when I started in graphic design to
learn the old way. I still work in traditional media but sketch in the computer
when it’s appropriate. One of the things in my fine art that does carry over
into the corporate images I produce is my tendency to push the medium as far as
it will go. I don’t stop with the first good result. A design has to be frozen
some-where, and that usually happens when the budget is an issue."
For Guinouard, work is about effort and
involvement. He welcomes the learning lessons on the way, recognizing that life
is not about making a mistake but about trying with persistence, determination
and integrity to create fine art and marketing solutions via design strategies.
"Taking a risk is the only way to proceed." Guinouard says. "I have to push the
envelope a bit, on a continual basis. Pushing involves time, design, budget,
awareness of client concerns as well as the client’s client."
